Dee Astell aka Countess Chaos, is a proud grandmother of 10, mother of 3 and married to one of the most annoyingly awesome men you will ever meet.
She has chaired various Sci-Fi/Fantasy conventions over the years. She was the Fashion Manager for Wild Wild West Con since it’s second year, organizing the fashion show and costume contest. She usually runs 2 to 3 fashion shows a year for various local cons.
Dee has held the title of Steampunk Event Coordinator and or programmer for a variety of local conventions over the years: Phoenix Comicon/FanFusion, Phoenix Fan Fest, LepreCon, DarkCon, CopperCon, FANtasm, and CoKoCon as well as running a host of maker workshops in and out of Arizona.
The last few years she has done less programming and can usually be found selling her bits and bobbles in the vendors room.
She’s also co-founder of the Arizona Penny Dreadfuls, a Victorian oddities group, which was her brainchild.
