Having grown up in the UK at a boarding school, I learned and traveled to many places full of legends in the British Isles. Later in my career, working in biotechnology with degrees in biochemistry and medicine, I developed new compounds, which kept me interested in science. Combining the two lets me create stories that explore the liminal spaces, the what ifs, the things that might be fantasy or perhaps they are tomorrow’s new technology.
