Melanie Lenart, Ph.D., is an environmental scientist and writer who lives in Tucson. She has published non-fiction extensively in newspapers, magazines and books, and currently writes regularly for Native Science Report. In recent years, she branched out into fiction, focusing on sci-fi, cli-fi, and speculative fiction.
