Jessica Pryde is a reader, writer, and librarian who believes in happily ever afters for all. She is a contributing editor at Book Riot, where she hosts the When In Romance podcast, and the author of Black Love Matters: Real Talk on Romance, Being Seen, and Happily Ever Afters. Her short story “Why Won’t You Die” was highlighted in a Publishers Weekly starred review of Someplace Generous, an anthology collection of romance stories by authors from historically and systemically excluded groups. Locally to Tucson, she leads the Bookmans Romance Book Club and is involved in the Tucson Festival of Books.
