Convention Particulars. This
year's convention will be held November 12-14, 2010 at the Hotel Tucson CityCenter
in Tucson,
Arizona. Note that the hotel has
changed its sign! It
now says HOTEL TUCSON City
Center and the sign is now mostly brown instead of the blue and
white of before. This year the weather is forcasted to be in the mid
60s. For lunch (10am-2pm) on Saturday and Sunday there will be a food
tent out by the pool. In addition to regular
convention programming, TusCon has a dealer's room, an art show, a
gaming room and a ConSuite where food and drinks are served to Con
goers. A breakfast buffet is included in the room rate, as is a free
happy hour at the hotel bar every evening.
Hotel Info.
Per
night rates are $69 (studio room), $79 (2-room suite or kitchenette)
& $89 for a
Jacuzzi
suite.
Be sure to mention "TusCon
Science Fiction Convention"
to get these rates.
Also
please
call, instead of using the website, for reservations so we get credit
for the room nights. Our room block expires on
10/11/2010, so
reserve your room early! As a courtesy
to our members, the hotel will extend convention rates for 3 nights
before and/or
after the actual convention dates.
