Author Guest of Honor: Seanan McGuire

Seanan Mcguire is the author of the October Daye urban fantasies, the InCryptid urban fantasies, and several other works both stand-alone and in trilogies or duologies. She also writes the Newsflesh & Parasitology series under the pseudonym “Mira Grant”.

Seanan was the winner of the 2010 John W. Campbell Award for Best New Writer, and her novel Feed (as Mira Grant) was named as one of Publishers Weekly's Best Books of 2010. In 2013 she became the first person ever to appear five times on the same Hugo Ballot.

Artist Guest of Honor: Bridget E. Wilde

Bridget E. Wilde began her career as a fantasy artist in 2000, selling drawings of catgirls on eBay as a way to earn money while staying home with her children. Since then, she has expanded into the SF/Fantasy convention circuit, selling prints and originals across the country.

Bridget created the cover art for the Whiskey Bards albums "Women, Whiskey, and War"; "The Recruiter: Free Rum Ain't Free"; "Bottoms Up!"; and "A Knight At The Inn," and had her short manga story "Trickster" published in Tokyopop's first Rising Stars of Manga anthology.

Toastmaster: Ed Bryant

Edward Bryant is best known as a horror and science fiction writer, with numerous Nebula and Bram Stoker awards for his fiction. He is also known as a reviewer and critic, with his work appearing regularly in Locus Magazine and The Year's Best Fantasy and Horror anthologies.

Perhaps more important, though, is Ed's reputation as a teacher and mentor. He has been instrumental in the careers of many successful writers and editors, several of whom have gone on to become award winners or bestselling authors in their own right.
